What our customers say...

Importance of training your puppy early
Establishing Good Behavior
Prevention of Bad Habits: Puppies’ quickly absorb information and can develop bad habits from their environment. Setting boundaries early on and teaching your puppy acceptable behaviors can stop these bad habits before they start, which means avoiding problems like excessive barking, chewing, and jumping!
Building a Strong Foundation: Establishing your puppy’s training foundation with basic obedience commands like sit, stay, and come, are essential behaviors that contribute to the safety and well-being of your puppy.
Crate Training: We believe crate training is an essential piece to responsible puppy ownership. A free-roaming pup can get into a lot of dangerous situations – just think of all the electrical wires you have in your house.
Enhancing Socialization
Positive Interactions with Other Dogs: It’s important for your puppy to develop good social skills early on to reduce the chances of fear or aggression against other dogs later in life.
Comfort Around People and Environments: Exposing and adapting your puppy to new people and environments is essential during their early, formative months of growth. Doing this ensures your puppy develops the confidence they need to go on any adventure with you, stress-free.
Promoting Mental Stimulation
Cognitive Development: Training exercises challenge your puppy’s brain and provide the mental stimulation they need to solve problems and understand commands effectively. Mental stimulation is crucial in developing a well-rounded, intelligent adult dog.
Bonding Through Training: Interacting with your puppy through training provides an excellent opportunity to build trust and strengthen the bond between you two.
Ensuring Safety
Responding to Commands: Sometimes a puppy's behavior can put them into dangerous situations like running into traffic, or approaching harmful objects. A well-trained puppy is more likely to respond to commands like “stay” or “come” which will keep them safe in potentially dangerous situations.
Reducing Anxiety: A trained puppy is generally more secure and less anxious compared to an untrained puppy because they understand what is expected of them, even when you’re not around. This sense of security can reduce behaviors like separation anxiety.
Long-Term Benefits
Easier Management: By understanding basic commands like “sit”, “come” or “stay”, your puppy will be much easier to manage as they grow older with excellent behavior in public places, social gatherings, and other various aspects of your life.
Improved Quality of Life: A well-trained dog is less likely to be re-homed due to behavioral issues and gets to enjoy an adventurous quality of life that untrained dogs miss out on; things like beach trips, dog sports, and social gatherings.
Creating a Positive Community Image: A well-behaved dog reflects positively on its owner and contributes to a positive perception of dog owner, and non-dog owners in the community.
